More pictures from our girls trip
We had such a wonderful night at the cabin! Memories include . . .
~supper and the guessing game afterwards
~our walk . . . the snake . . .

~having our hair done in zigzag parts and pigtails~

~phase ten and the accompanying discussion~
~finally going to bed after midnight and talking with Karen til around 1:00~
the picture below is my friend Bettina
When we girls went on our walk, we saw these signs and they really caused us to act lost
Vivian found a dead snake and proceeded to pick it up by its tail, causing some of the rest of us to run the other direction!

Karen and me (nice background, aye?)
a few monkeys climbed a tree and then some sightseers came along, trying to "feed" them
The next day we drove about an hour and a half to the Shenadoah River where we went rafting. It was a lovely day that began and ended with rain, but most of it was pure sunshine! It was so relaxing to float or paddle down the river. The rapids were not real bad, but thrilling enough that some of us portaged our raft and went over them again.
We used three rafts in all.and of course we ate snacks and drank pop all day!
like I said, it was relaxing . . .
