Poor Me
I think I'm sick more than I'm well. Dad says it must be time to get me to America once. While we were trying to move to the guesthouse, I was sick with a lot of dizziness. I was literally hanging onto the counters to keep from toppling over.
Thankfully I recovered from that, and was very energetic and well for about three days. Then I got sick with the flu that Dad and TJ had--the type of flu where you have a sore stomach and such terrible backache it makes you limp. I was well for two days.
Now I'm sicker than a dog again and nauseated.
I also have the familiar type of headache that often assails me--it starts behind my eyes and it can't be touched by any type of pain medication. I just have to sleep it off. I hate to moan and complain of my aches and pains, that's what old people do, right? But I thought I needed a few prayers for my health. Here are some pictures from last Sunday evening when we youth were at the lake. It must've been one of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen since we first came to Kenya in '96.

Oh, I finished the Stonewycke books and am currently out of books for the umpteenth time. I guess I gotta go raid the neighbors' bookshelves again. It will be good to get back to our lovely rows of bookshelves in America.

I'm sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well. not fun!! I hope I'll get to see you soon when you come back to home stomping grounds. We'd like to get to James' wedding, so maybe I'll see you there. And if you get to PA before then, come on around. We have an extra bed, and it would be so fun to catch up with you again!
